ELLIOTT SADLER — No. 19 STANLEY DODGE CHARGER
• Started 40th and finished 32nd
• Struggled with a loose off handling condition
• Took a wave around to regain lead lap status on lap 63 and 85
• Fell a lap down on lap 158 and took the wave around on lap 186
• Took two tires on the final pit stop to gain track position
• Was racing in a top 15 position when caught in wreck with six laps to go
• Snapped a 52 race streak of not having a DNF (Did not finish) - tied for the longest streak of consecutive races.
SADLER: “That wasn’t the way we were hoping for that race to end. We were racing hard with a couple laps to go and I got pushed from behind by another car right into the No 88. I wish there was something that I could have done differently to change the outcome, but its one of those deals where you don’t have a lot of control. I hate it for my guys on the Stanley team—we all had a pretty impressive DNF streak going, but we couldn’t get it back out there with only six laps left.”
